Job Summary

In this role, you will assist the driver in loading, unloading, and delivering goods while maintaining a focus on safety, customer service, and operational excellence. Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with loading and unloading goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Support the driver in navigating routes efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Help with the safe lifting, moving, and placement of packages or materials, ensuring compliance with weight handling safety protocols.
- Participate in operations including inventory management, material handling, and maintaining organized areas.
- Communicate effectively with customers during deliveries to ensure a positive experience and address any immediate concerns or questions.
- Assist with load & unload activities at the warehouse or delivery sites, ensuring all items are handled safely and accurately.
Skills
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor during deliveries.
- The physical ability to lift, lower, push, and pull furniture of all sizes, including pieces over 200 lbs., while navigating stairs, tight corners, and varying weather conditions.
- Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, communication, or documentation purposes.
Pay: $150.00 per day
