Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Service Technician to join our team and drive excellence in industrial maintenance and equipment troubleshooting. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex machinery and electrical systems within manufacturing facilities. Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and reliability, supporting our commitment to operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Perform detailed diagnostics and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Utilize schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes of equipment failures.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess system performance.
- Troubleshoot high voltage and low voltage electrical systems using electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment history.
- Support field service operations by traveling to customer sites for on-site repairs, installations, or inspections.
- Assist with welding tasks using welding techniques when necessary for repairs or fabrication.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting complex issues involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, and industrial mechanics.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols while working with industrial machinery, including scissor lifts and other elevated platforms.
Skills
- Proven experience in manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and reading schematics or blueprints.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, HVAC knowledge is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters confidently.
- Skilled in equipment repair involving electrical systems, mechanical components, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management and documentation.
- Strong analysis skills combined with excellent customer service abilities for effective technical support.
- Knowledge of industrial electrician practices including low voltage wiring and high voltage safety procedures.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints accurately for efficient diagnostics.
- Experience with welding techniques specific to standards or requirements is a plus.
- Background in industrial mechanic work or maintenance within manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Military experience related to technical maintenance or electronics is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $26.15 - $31.49 per hour
