Bayuk Construction is a local, general contracting business that focuses on residential additions, renovations, decks, and new builds in North Idaho. Key Responsibility:
Examples of duties needed to complete the above projects:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
- Assist with demolition and debris removal.
- Prepare the site: Remove debris, trash, and hazardous materials, and clean and prepare the construction site.
- Load and unload: Move, secure, install, load, or unload materials and equipment.
- Dig trenches, compact earth, and backfill holes.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Work with the team on designing and implementing various custom construction projects as needed based on individual project requirements.
- Work independently on assigned tasks to help move projects along.
- Provide value to the team by completing assigned tasks on time while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Follow safety guidelines to ensure the safety of yourself and your team.
- Construction: Building foundations, walls, roofing systems, and other wooden structures like joists, rafters, and partitions
- Repair: Renovating and repairing wooden structures and fixtures
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Able to work in a physically intense job full-time
- Comprehensive understanding of residential construction
- Hardworking
- Able to work in a team and independently
- Detail oriented
- Ability to follow instructions and safety regulations
- Willingness to learn company-specific construction techniques
- Basic knowledge of algebra and geometry
- Valid driver’s license
- Clear background check

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
