Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, motivated, and student-centered School Interventionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide academic support and targeted interventions to students who need additional assistance in reading, math, and/or behavioral support. This role focuses on helping students close learning gaps, build confidence, and achieve academic success through individualized and small-group instruction.The School Interventionist will work closely with teachers, administration, and support staff to develop and implement intervention plans that support student growth and achievement.
Duties
- Provide small-group and one-on-one academic intervention support
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate intervention data
- Collaborate with teachers to identify students needing additional support
- Implement evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions
- Assist in developing individualized learning goals and support plans
- Support classroom behavior management and student engagement when needed
- Communicate effectively with staff and families regarding student progress
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and school initiatives
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred
- Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Passion for supporting student growth and achievement
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Experience with intervention programs, behavior support, or differentiated instruction is a plus
