Skyline Animal Hospital, a modern, full-service clinic in central Houston, is seeking a part-time or full-time veterinarian to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, compassionate care in a supportive and collaborative environment. No overnights, we are open from 8am-6pm Monday- Friday, Saturdays 9am-1pm.

Qualifications:
- DVM or equivalent (Texas license or eligibility required)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Interest in general medicine and surgery
Responsibilities
- Provide preventative veterinary care across companion and exotic cases, including anesthesia administration, surgery assistance, and post-operative monitoring. Having emergency or exotic experience is a bonus.
- Perform physical exams, diagnose conditions, develop treatment plans, and communicate findings clearly to clients and team.
- Handle animals with proper restraint, aseptic technique, and safety protocols; manage sample collection and basic laboratory tasks.
- Utilize veterinary terminology and professional ethics in all interactions while coordinating with specialists as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records, monitors patient progress, and ensure high standards of animal welfare and patient safety.
- USDA accredidted for companion animal health certificates
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
