Under the direction of the Warehouse Inventory Manager, the Warehouse Inventory Coordination Specialist’s main tasks are to:

Conduct daily cycle counts on Trailers at the direction of the Warehouse Inventory Manager

Conduct daily cycle counts of warehouse inventory materials at the direction of the Warehouse Inventory Manager
-
Assist Warehouse Inventory Manager in verifying all raw materials and finished goods are placed in the correct location within the warehouse and in Dynamics
-
Assist Warehouse Inventory Manager in checking the prior day’s production runs every morning to confirm accuracy both physically in the warehouse and in Dynamics; Assist in confirming the bar codes and any additional labels are correct

Assist the Warehouse Inventory Manager in pulling samples requested by customers and ensure they are shipped out, as applicable

Aid Production by opening warehouse locations

Aid Shipping by staging orders and thereby creating open warehouse locations

Coordinate with Blending and Reaction departments to stage required raw materials for production, and ensure their return to the warehouse upon completion, maintaining accurate and complete documentation throughout the process.

Attend all physical inventory counts and assist in recounting and verifying inventory

Assist the Warehouse Inventory Manager in coordinating, planning, and managing all internal/customer physical inventory audits/counts

Organize and maintain warehouse inventory for efficient material storage

Assist in prepping material for Disposal by identifying & staging, as needed

Confirm customer requests regarding physical warehouse inventory quantities

Assist in backing up Warehouse Inventory Manager as needed

Assist in locating misplaced inventory within the warehouse

Complete additional related duties assigned by Warehouse Inventory Manager

Back up other team members within the Inventory Management Organization

High School Graduate or GED desired but not required
-
Ability to understand mathematical conversions
-
Must be able to obtain OSHA required Forklift Certification within four months after date of hire

Working knowledge of inventory control practices; working knowledge of tools, supplies, equipment used in the construction and maintenance of electrical supply systems. Working knowledge of computer terminal operation. Considerable knowledge of equipment operating principals and procedures. Considerable knowledge of hazards and safety precautions relating to equipment operation, loading and unloading of materials.

Have general knowledge of plant safety rules.

Must be able to read and interpret an MSDS, as well as know the location of the MSDS book

Have knowledge of Third Coast’s quality policy and objectives.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to use their hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.

The team member frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch.

The team member is occasionally required to sit.

The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift 25 pounds.
