Experienced Bookkeeper – Growth Opportunity | REH CPA, PLLC (Charlotte & Mooresville/Lake Norman, NC)
Hybrid Remote | Full-Time | $23–$27/hour
REH CPA, PLLC is a dynamic and growing CPA firm with offices in Charlotte and Mooresville/Lake Norman, NC. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. This position is ideal for a motivated accounting professional looking for long-term career growth within a supportive, collaborative, and forward-thinking firm.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in bookkeeping and payroll, along with a solid understanding of accounting principles. A degree in accounting or a related field is preferred. You will manage monthly accounting functions for a diverse client base while providing exceptional accuracy and client service.
This hybrid position allows you to work from either our Charlotte or Mooresville office, with remote work flexibility based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll for multiple business clients
- Perform write-up bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations and journal entries
- Prepare and file sales tax returns
- Assist with business property tax filings
- Communicate professionally with clients and respond promptly to their needs
- Maintain accurate financial records and meet client deadlines
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred)
- Two or more years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a CPA firm or bookkeeping practice
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and payroll software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
