Civil Litigation Attorney

Pay: $110-150K+ Depending on Experience
Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join their team and take ownership of a diverse caseload from client intake through resolution! This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys hands-on litigation, courtroom experience, and direct client interaction, with the opportunity to play an active role in case strategy and management!
Responsibilities:
- Manage civil litigation matters from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other litigation documents
- Represent clients at in-person and Zoom court hearings
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw
- Manage client intake, case strategy, and ongoing client communication
- Handle e-filing, case documentation, and litigation deadlines
- Collaborate with clients, attorneys, courts, opposing counsel, and other case professionals
Qualifications:
- Maine Bar License in good standing
- 3+ years of litigation experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated courtroom experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and case management skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines
- Experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: Civil/Business Litigation, Personal Injury/Medical Malpractice, Probate/Trusts & Estate Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, Family/Divorce, Criminal Law, or Appeals
