Lighthouse Therapy is seeking an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based position for the 2026–2027 school year. This role includes providing therapy services, completing documentation, and collaborating with school teams to support students’ communication needs.
Lighthouse Therapy is a small, SLP-owned company that values clinician support and understands the demands of school-based practice. We offer compensation for both direct and indirect time, including planning, documentation, and IEP-related responsibilities.

Duties
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments tailored to pre-k/high school students in a school-setting
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving speech clarity, language comprehension, voice quality, and social communication skills.
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions that incorporate evidence-based techniques for speech therapy and early intervention strategies.
- Collaborate closely with educators, caregivers, and healthcare teams to ensure cohesive patient care and progress tracking.
- Educate families on home exercises and communication strategies to reinforce therapy goals outside of sessions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance records in accordance with regulatory standards.
Experience
- Prior school experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in using speech therapy techniques with pediatric populations and a focus on early intervention programs.
- Proven ability to perform thorough patient assessments using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Experience working with diverse populations and tailoring therapy approaches to individual needs is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families.
