A Jimmy John's Shift Lead manages daily store operations, ensuring great customer service, proper employee performance, and adherence to systems in a fast-paced environment, handling tasks from customer greetings and sandwich prep to cash handling, while also training staff and maintaining cleanliness and safety, often acting as the Person in Charge (PIC) when managers are absent. Key duties include leading by example, upholding brand standards, and ensuring sales goals are met, with physical requirements like standing and lifting. Key Responsibilities:
Operations: Oversee the entire shift, ensuring smooth running, quality products, and sales performance.
Customer Service: Greet guests, take orders, handle payments, and ensure excellent guest experiences.
Team Leadership: Supervise staff, provide training, delegate tasks, and motivate the team to perform well.
Product & Store Quality: Ensure sandwiches are made correctly, store is clean, and safety practices (slicer, knives) are followed.
Management Support: Act as the Person in Charge (PIC) when managers aren't present, managing daily tasks and objectives.
