Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support accurate installations
- Perform conduit bending, electrical wiring, and electrical system installation tasks following safety protocols and industry standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure system integrity
- Follow NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) compliance guidelines to maintain safety and quality standards on all projects
- Adhere strictly to electrical safety procedures, including low voltage and high voltage safety practices during installation and maintenance
- Support construction site activities by framing carpentry tasks when necessary and assisting with general site organization
Qualifications
- Prior experience or exposure to industrial or commercial electrician work is highly desirable
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics with confidence
- Familiarity with conduit bending, electrical wiring techniques, and electrical systems installation processes
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and NEC compliance requirements
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices
- Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures for low voltage and high voltage environments
- Construction site experience demonstrating reliability and teamwork skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions
