Account Managers are LEADERS. They consult with potential and existing clients to help them determine the best options for their Commercial and Architectural Signage needs. They are team players who lead the charge in organization, details and punctuality throughout the lifespan of the project. Account Managers represent The Sign Brothers on the highest level by setting the tone and expectations from the earliest beginnings.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Accountable for the management of multiple projects while meeting all quality and productivity targets according to the forecast and/or scheduling timelines.
- Prioritize projects daily. This includes communication with Production, Install, and Design department and the client regarding project progression, delays and issues.
- Work daily with the design team and estimation team to clearly and efficiently communicate project notes.
- Understand each project’s scope and proactively communicate needs to client and internal team.
- Ensure standard procedures are being used for completing projects on time and on budget.
- Set and manage customer expectations for project timelines by the use of Gantt Chart Methodology
- Interface and initiate action with appropriate departments not aligning with the project timeline.
- Initiate action with required departments or personnel to eliminate issues that prevent poor or inconsistent quality, slow turn times, and reproductions.
- Help to ensure consistent, dependable and predictable quality throughout the departments.
- Support Continuous Improvement initiatives and morale
- Oversee and assess final labor and material costs for continuous improvement
- Conduct consistent meetings for projects with high volume or complexity
- Accountable for the organization and cleanliness of the Account Manager’s desk & area
- Properly qualify ideal clients, and understand and manage not so ideal clients.
- Confront and solve internal conflicts with intentionality, compassion and empathy.
- Complete work orders and pre-production checklists entirely and accurately, and in a timely fashion.
- Give thanks and praise when it is deserved.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2-3 years sign industry experience
- 1-2 years Account or Project Management experience a plus
- Ability to lead a team, and create and execute a complex plan.
- Strong communicator, integrity and a leader
- Professional Certifications are a plus
- Strong knowledge of MS Suite, Excel, Shopvox, Google Docs, Google Sheets, & Graphic design programs are a plus
Working Conditions
Conditions include being outdoors occasionally during hot and cold weather days. Some late evenings and weekends are occasionally needed.
Physical Requirements
Some days there are physical demands such as standing for long periods of time while meeting with clients. Proficiency with tape measure and comfort on a 20’ ladder.
Direct Reports
All Account Managers report directly to the Sales Manager or General Manager depending on the current structure of the company.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000 based on experience - Year 1
