We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to support reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations across the Bank. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys solving problems, helping employees use technology effectively, and keeping day-to-day systems running smoothly. The role provides hands-on support for employee technology needs, network connectivity, desktop equipment, user access, and routine IT administration. This position does not include programming responsibilities. This position is 100% onsite.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal IT support requests, providing timely and professional assistance to employees.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving desktops, laptops, printers, phones, mobile devices, Microsoft 365 applications, and other workplace technology tools.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues related to LAN/WAN environments, wireless access, VPN access, routers, switches, and related infrastructure.
- Assist with installation, configuration, maintenance, and replacement of workstations, peripherals, and standard software applications.
- Set up and support user accounts, password resets, access permissions, and basic Active Directory administration.
- Assist with office moves, workstation deployments, device replacements, technology rollouts, disaster recovery testing, business continuity support, and backup-related documentation as assigned.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, Computer Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Two to five years of experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, network support, or a similar role preferred.
- Working knowledge of network fundamentals and an understanding of virtualization technologies.
- Experience supporting Windows-based environments, desktop hardware, printers, mobile devices, and common business applications.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, user account administration, endpoint troubleshooting, documentation, and issue tracking.
- Exposure to firewalls, routers, switches, and basic network security concepts preferred.
- Banking or regulated industry experience is helpful but not required.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
- Excellent customer service and follow-through.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively.
- Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and technologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Sound judgment when handling confidential or sensitive information.
