Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our awesome team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This is a hands-on role that requires strong Auto-body skills and attention to detail.
Duties:
- Perform body repairs, including sheet metal work, welding, and frame straightening
- Remove and install damaged parts, such as doors, fenders, and bumpers
- Repair or replace damaged parts properly using proper body tools to achieve desired results
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding to the desired finish by communicating strongly with the painter and prepper.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed
- Working side by side with the estimator to ensure we do a full blue print to ensure we capture the majority of damages upon initial inspection
- Ensure all repairs meet quality standards provided and explained by Elite Auto Collision to ensure we give the best customer satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service to customers by addressing customer concerns and answering questions if the opinion of the technician is needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role
- Strong auto body skills with knowledge of proper auto restoration techniques
- Proficient in sheet metal work, welding, and using power tools
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with auto estimating software is a plus not required but definitely a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license
