Purpose:
The Centralized Membership Coordinator will ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new members, fulfilling initial financial service needs and identifying additional needs while building relationships and connections with a sense of urgency, ensuring that new members feel welcomed and supported.

· Prior financial experience is not required; candidates from hospitality, retail, healthcare, food service, and other customer focused environments are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Builds sustainable relationships: Engage with new members in a friendly, and professional manner, making them feel welcomed and supported.
- Phone-based communication: Conduct follow-up calls and emails to new members to ensure they are gathering and submitting missing information, resulting in successfully onboarding new members.
- Account maintenance: Open new accounts and complete basic new member account maintenance, gathering necessary onboarding documentation.
- Referral to lending: Direct new members to apply for loans online or refer loan questions to Centralized Lending.
- Record keeping: Maintain detailed records of new member interactions and follow-up activities in CRM system.
- Compliance: Comply with all regulations, guidelines, and procedures.
- Product knowledge: Maintain thorough knowledge of all Credit Union account deposit and lending products, services, and promotions.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Incumbent must be able to move throughout the Credit Union and perform a variety of physical activities to accomplish the goals of the Credit Union. Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, stoop, open fire-proof filing cabinets and lift up to 45 lbs. Manual dexterity in the operation of computer keyboards is required. Working conditions are characterized in part by normal office conditions in a temperature-controlled environment sitting at a table, desk or computer terminal within a cubicle setting.
Pay: From $22.36 per hour
