Project Manager
PS Seasoning — Onsite
PS Seasoning is growing — and we're looking for a driven, organized Project Manager to lead high-value initiatives across our food manufacturing operation. This is our company's first dedicated project management role, and you'll be the one building the foundation for a formal Project Management Office (PMO) from the ground up.
You'll partner with leaders across IT, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget, while building project management capability across the organization through coaching, templates, and structured methodology.
This is a high-visibility role that calls for both the discipline to run complex, cross-functional projects and the communication skills to influence without direct authority in a multi-site manufacturing environment. You'll report to the Vice President of IT & Engineering.
Project Leadership & Delivery
-
Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic, cross-functional projects, including ERP enhancements, capital improvement initiatives, process redesign, and technology deployments.
-
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, resource plans, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders and executive sponsors.
-
Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests with proactive mitigation strategies and clear escalation paths.
-
Facilitate project meetings, steering committee reviews, and status reporting tailored to the audience.
-
Drive accountability across workstreams, maintaining momentum and alignment with business priorities.
PMO Establishment & Continuous Improvement
-
Design and implement a lightweight, right-sized PMO framework, including project intake, prioritization, status reporting, and post-project review processes.
-
Develop and maintain a standard library of project templates, charters, RACI matrices, risk registers, and communication plans.
-
Build and manage a portfolio-level view of active and planned projects to support executive decision-making and resource allocation.
-
Identify and recommend tools to support project tracking and collaboration across departments.
Coaching & Capability Building
-
Train department leads and team members in foundational project management principles, tools, and best practices.
-
Partner with functional managers to embed project discipline into operational improvement efforts and departmental initiatives.
-
Serve as an internal resource and advisor for ad-hoc project guidance across the organization.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
-
Build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization, from frontline supervisors to the executive team.
-
Translate complex project status and issues into clear, concise communication tailored to each audience.
-
Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, personal hygiene, and other quality and safety standards while working on or near the production floor.
-
3–6 years of experience leading cross-functional projects in a professional or manufacturing environment.
-
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
-
Strong facilitation, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
-
Experience developing project documentation: charters, project plans, risk logs, status reports, and retrospectives.
-
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar).
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
-
A high degree of organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and ownership mindset.
-
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
-
PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification.
-
Experience in food manufacturing, CPG, or process manufacturing environments.
-
Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with Deacom or similar manufacturing ERP a strong plus).
-
Prior experience standing up or operating within a PMO structure.
-
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
-
Experience working in multi-site or multi-shift manufacturing operations.
This is a rare opportunity to shape project management practice for an entire organization — not just run projects, but build the playbook, tools, and culture that will support PS Seasoning's growth for years to come. If you're energized by variety, visibility, and the chance to leave a lasting mark, we'd love to hear from you.
This position will be located on site at our Iron Ridge, WI facility and will transfer to our West Bend facility in mid- 2027.
