Job Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Independent Contractors holding licensure as LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LAPC (Licensed Associate Professional Counselor), or LAMFT (Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist). This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality mental health services across diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, telehealth platforms, hospitals, and community-based programs. As an independent contractor, you will deliver evidence-based therapy, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans to support clients of all ages. Duties
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing clinical documentation standards and ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases) to accurately diagnose and formulate treatment strategies.
- Provide individual,couples, family, and child/youth therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and grief counseling.
- Utilize telehealth platforms effectively for remote counseling sessions while maintaining HIPAA compliance and ensuring patient confidentiality.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans aligned with clinical ethical guidelines and medical documentation standards; monitor progress through regular patient assessments and data collection.
- Maintain accurate client records within EHR systems, adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards for quality assurance and legal compliance.
Skills
- Proven expertise in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and behavioral health interventions.
- Strong experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Skilled in crisis intervention, crisis management, behavior management techniques, and trauma-informed care approaches.
- Proficient in intake procedures, diagnostic evaluation using ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems, treatment planning, and clinical documentation standards.
- Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and medical terminology; experience working in inpatient or outpatient settings is a plus.
- Ability to conduct mental health assessments for patients with complex needs including PTSD care, chronic pain counseling, gender issues counseling, or special education requirements.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in behavioral health and social work; capability to adapt interventions for diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics.

Pay: $50.00 - $83.00 per hour
