The opportunity
Beamont Bailey is conducting a search on behalf of a global building materials group, appointing a General Manager for one of its largest cement operations.
This is the group's flagship facility in the region and a significant revenue generator for the wider organisation. The role carries full operational ownership of the plant, leadership of a major improvement and expansion project currently underway, and the commercial relationship with a network of 20+ ready mix facilities.
What you'll own
- Full P&L, safety, and operational performance of the plant
- Delivery of a major capital expansion programme
- The commercial interface with a 20+ site RMX network and regional platform
- Building, developing, and retaining the site leadership team
- Reliability, cost, quality, and environmental performance against group targets
What we're looking for
- Track record running a cement plant at GM level, or operating at VP level within cement or heavy building materials
- Strong candidates ready to make the step up will be considered
- Demonstrable results in safety, cost, and reliability improvement
- Experience delivering or supporting capital projects
- Commercial fluency alongside operational depth
Package
The package has been built to secure the strongest operator in the market. Base salary is positioned at the top end available across the sector, with a large on-target bonus and share plan.
The status of the site within the group means there is a defined progression and career development plan into regional leadership.
Location

Pay: $250,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year
