Kelly Construction is seeking an experienced, dependable CDL Class A driver to safely transport heavy construction equipment and materials to job sites throughout Middle Tennessee. In addition to transportation duties, this position also plays an important role in performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trucks, trailers, and construction equipment to keep our operations running smoothly.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys a variety of work, takes pride in operating equipment safely, and has the mechanical skills to help keep our fleet in top condition. Responsibilities include:
- Safely transport construction equipment, machinery, and materials to and from job sites throughout Middle Tennessee.
- Load, secure, and unload heavy equipment following DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers.
- Coordinate equipment pickups and deliveries to support project schedules.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on company trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues.
- Maintain accurate inspection reports, maintenance records, and delivery documentation.
- Ensure all vehicles and equipment meet DOT and company safety standards.
- Keep the tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Pay: From $38.00 per hour
