NuStep is actively seeking Fabrication Technicians who is a team player and demonstrates flexibility in dealing with changing circumstances. It is crucial that the candidate is familiar with working in a production environment and comprehends the significance of their contributions to NuStep's components. Additionally, basic computer skills, proficient writing, and effective listening and communication skills are necessary for this role. The ideal candidate should be capable of adhering to safety guidelines and have some mechanical background experience. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required for this position. All applicants must pass a background/drug screening.
Fabrication Schedule.
10 hour work days.
BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for the operation, set up, and maintenance of fabrication and powder coat equipment to manufacture quality products in a timely and efficient manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the set up, maintenance and operation of fabrication, and powder coat equipment.
- Verify that visual and dimensional attributes of the products are conforming to the specifications, in accordance with blue prints. Maintain records as required.
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance of manufacturing equipment at the required frequency.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, and Quality departments and collaborate on productivity, QA and efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Assist in recommending changes in methods, materials, production flow, equipment, etc. to enhance the overall product quality and efficiency by eliminating non-value added activity. Focus on continuous improvement.
- Adhere to and assist in writing and updating procedures and work instructions.
- Conduct all operations within the requirements of the quality management system and make corrections per QA recommendations.
- Assist with problem solving, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action. Complete documentation as required.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:
High School diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
- Manufacturing experience within an ISO registered organization or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with various precision measuring devices required.
- Experience reading blueprints required.
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication, fabrication equipment, manufacturing equipment, and their operation helpful.
- Experience with powder coat equipment preferred.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
