A great UHY client is seeking an Interim Part-Time Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping experience utilizing QuickBooks.
The Interim Part-Time Bookkeeper role is an onsite position. This is a contract position.
Interim Part-Time Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records within the accounting system.
- Record and reconcile daily cash, bank, and credit card transactions.
- Perform monthly bank and general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare financial information to support tax filings and year-end reporting.
- Assist with payroll tax and retirement plan administration.
- Process vendor invoices, payments, and employee expense reports.
- Match invoices to supporting documentation and maintain vendor records.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices.
- Manage accounts receivable, including collections, payment application, and billing discrepancy resolution.
- Process customer invoices through electronic billing portals.
- Provide backup support for payroll processing.
- Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with financial reporting and special projects as needed.
Interim Part-Time Bookkeeper Requirements:
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Strong experience with accounting software; QuickBooks preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
