Position Overview: Prep, Line & Dish – Alesia Restaurant
We are currently seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our kitchen team for the Prep-Dish position at Alesia Restaurant. This a part or full-time role, with a consistent schedule of 30–40 hours per week. Must have complete availability to work the shifts below.
Required Availability - Schedule:
- Tuesday thru Saturday: 8:30 AM – 2:45 PM
- Tuesday 430pm - 900pm.
- Saturday 430pm - 900pm.
- 35-40 hrs per week.
- Closed: Sundays and Mondays
- Key Responsibilities:
The role is split between morning prep and dishwashing. More qualified candidates will be for prep/line roles. Core duties include:
- Arriving to work on time and ready to begin the day
- Able to carry 50 lbs or more
- Putting away fresh produce and deliveries upon arrival
- Morning prep tasks, primarily using the slicer, such as:
- Slicing cold cuts
- Shredding lettuce
- Preparing meats and vegetables
- General kitchen prep as needed
- Transitioning to dishwashing duties once prep is completed
We are a fast-casual concept with a moderate dish load, allowing time for prep work during slower dishwashing periods. Room for promotion and additional hours
Expectations & Requirements:
- Punctuality and reliable attendance are essential
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy items and unload deliveries
- Must put away all inventory as it arrives
- No smoke breaks or use of earbuds during shifts
- Professional attire and conduct required
- Reliable transportation is highly preferred
- Phones put away
- No Earbuds during service
