Responsibilities
Assist bartenders by restocking supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware to ensure they can serve guests without interruption
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area by cleaning glasses, utensils, and surfaces regularly in accordance with health standards
Support food preparation tasks including basic food handling and setup for events like banquets or catering functions
Buss tables and clear empty dishes promptly to keep the dining area tidy and inviting
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transactions when needed, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Ensure all food safety protocols are followed during food handling and service, maintaining compliance with health regulations
Help with setup and breakdown for special events or busy service periods in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is highly preferred, especially in nightclub, banquet, catering, or hotel settings
Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions efficiently
Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic bar environment at all times
Experience with food preparation, food handling, and serving in a fast-paced setting
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or bussing tables
Knowledge of the food industry standards and safety regulations is a plus; prior kitchen or barista experience is beneficial
