Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
- Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages positive behavior management and social skills.
- Engage children in activities that promote cognitive growth, fine and gross motor skills, and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address individual needs including special education or early intervention requirements, and support child welfare.
- Maintain organized classroom management practices to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with licensing standards.
- Use classroom experience and lesson planning expertise to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learning styles and developmental stages.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing techniques when appropriate to monitor progress and inform instruction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and early intervention techniques.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, literacy education, teaching physical education, and Montessori methods is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics confidently while fostering a positive learning environment.
- Prior experience with classroom management tools and lesson planning software preferred.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
