St. Francis Animal Sanctuary & Rescue is seeking a dependable part-time team member to assist with property maintenance and animal care throughout the summer.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Mowing grass using riding and push mowers
- Weed eating and general grounds maintenance
- Basic property upkeep and outdoor labor
- Filling in for Animal Care Technicians as needed
- Feeding animals and cleaning kennels when care staff are off
- Assisting with other sanctuary projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be reliable and able to work independently
- Comfortable working outdoors in the Mississippi heat
- Able to safely operate lawn equipment
- Comfortable working around dogs and cats
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor
- Valid driver's license preferred
Schedule:
Part-time, flexible hours with an option to move to full time. Additional hours may be available when covering Animal Care Technician shifts.
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
