About Us
TAF Diagnostic Services is building a Texas Collector Network to provide mobile drug and alcohol testing support for delivery, transportation, and safety-sensitive employers across Texas.
We are seeking reliable independent collectors or collection companies who may be available to provide mobile post-accident testing support in their local service area.
Position Overview
This is an independent contractor opportunity for experienced or trainable collectors who can respond to mobile testing requests on an as-needed basis.
Post-accident testing is time-sensitive, so strong communication, reliability, professionalism, and accurate documentation are extremely important.
Services May Include
- Mobile post-accident drug testing
- Non-DOT urine drug collections
- DOT urine collections, if qualified
- Rapid drug testing
- Breath alcohol testing, if qualified/equipped
- Chain-of-custody documentation
- Specimen packaging and shipment preparation
- Timely reporting to TAF Diagnostic Services
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior drug and alcohol testing collection experience preferred
- DOT collector qualification preferred but not required
- BAT or STT training preferred but not required
- Experience with chain-of-custody forms preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to respond quickly to dispatch requests
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to follow written procedures and documentation requirements
Requirements
Applicants must be willing to:
- Work as an independent contractor
- Accept assignments on a case-by-case basis
- Provide service-area availability
- Complete a collector application
- Sign a subcontractor agreement, if selected
- Provide a completed W-9 before receiving assignments
- Follow TAF Diagnostic Services dispatch and reporting procedures
- Keep donor and employer information confidential
- Refrain from contacting or billing TAF Diagnostic Services’ clients directly

We are currently looking for coverage in multiple Texas areas, including but not limited to:
- Dallas/Fort Worth
- Forney
- Paris
- Tyler/Longview
Compensation
Compensation is paid per completed assignment. Rates may vary based on service area, testing type, mobile response requirements, after-hours needs, mileage, and collector qualifications.
