Job Description
Part-time In-home ABA services to be provided by a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Client is a young adult with significant support needs, focusing on social engagement, community participation, and adaptive behavior skills.
Skills
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and data collection.
- Consistent, reliable, and punctual.
- Candidates should be energetic, patient, and engaging.
- Strong philosophical stance on inclusion of individuals with disabilities, presumed competence, and valuing of neurodiversity.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plan developed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to promote skill acquisition.
- Collect accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
- Assist client with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care routines, to foster independence.
- Participate in regular supervision sessions, training, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices in behavioral health and ABA.
Pay: $27.00 per hour
