Overview
Join the Olivia Gilligan-Corsetti for State Representative campaign as a Field Associate Intern. This is a ground-level opportunity to work directly on a competitive Massachusetts state legislative race, doing the real work that wins campaigns: knocking doors, talking to voters, and building the field operation from the ground up. Hours are flexible and the work is hands-on from day one.
Duties
- Canvass precincts across the district, engaging voters in direct conversation about the campaign
- Support the planning and execution of voter contact programs including door-to-door and phone outreach
- Assist with volunteer recruitment, training, and coordination at canvassing events
- Help maintain accurate records of voter interactions and field data in campaign systems
- Contribute to campaign strategy discussions and debrief sessions with campaign staff
- Represent the campaign at community events and tabling opportunities
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for grassroots political organizing and state-level electoral politics
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort talking to strangers
- Ability to work outdoors and on foot for extended periods
- Previous canvassing, campaign, or community organizing experience is a plus but not required
