Montgomery Automotive Group is a leading group of dealerships in the area and is currently hiring experienced mechanics / automotive technicians for Kia East and Montgomery Chevrolet dealerships. As a mechanic / automotive technician you can expect to complete basic maintenance services and to be motivated, hard-working, and want to continue your career in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate for this position would be someone who has minimum of 2 years experience in the automotive industry and is able to stand, lift, and be on their feet for long periods of time.

Experienced Automotive Technician Responsibilities:
- Able to diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, steering, brakes, suspension, transmission, air conditioning, etc.
- Completes service and repair assignments efficiently, safely and correct, to pass quality inspections set forth by dealership quality standards.
- Comply with company safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate directly with service advisors and foreman regarding the status of the service work.
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Experienced Automotive Technician Qualifications:
- 5+ years automotive technician / mechanic experience.
- Ability to diagnose shop vehicles.
- Kia and/or Hyundai experience preferred but not required.
- Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Working knowledge of shop equipment (such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.).
- Strong automotive knowledge.
- Maintains sufficient personally-owned tools in good working order.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Guaranteed 40 + flat rate hours each week.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
