Role Summary
We are hiring reliable and hardworking Barback to support our bar operations during the 2026 music festival season. This temporary role runs from June 20th through November, covering 16+ festival events in total:
All events take place on Saturday and Sunday afternoons through night, with occasional Fridays, in Downtown Los Angeles.
The Barback will play a vital behind-the-scenes role to keep the bar running efficiently by restocking supplies, assisting bartenders, handling trash, and ensuring all stations stay clean, safe, and organized throughout the event. Availability during peak season is required, and an infectiously enthusiastic personality is a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory and communicate low-stock needs to the Bartender Lead.
- Help ensure compliance with cleanliness and health & safety standards.
- Remove trash, broken glass, and recyclables regularly from the bar areas.
- Jump in to help wherever needed to keep operations flowing smoothly.
- Maintain a positive, can-do attitude in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Requirements
- Prior barback, runner, or event support experience preferred (but not required).
- Must be reliable, hardworking, and comfortable with physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work on your feet for long hours, outdoors.
- Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in California.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions from the Bartender Lead and event managers.
- Responsible Beverage Service required
- Must be available to work all festival dates between June 20th through late November 2026.
