American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active GA or compact RN license.

Hospital-based Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) setting
-
Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
-
On-call required: typically one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 3–4 weeks

Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed

Local candidates are accepted

Active GA or compact RN license required

Minimum 2 years of CVOR or cardiovascular OR nursing experience required

All relevant certifications must be current and copies provided for consideration

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Candidates must have been away from all facilities within this health system for at least one full year before returning as a traveler

No schedule change requests or alternate shifts are permitted; the posted shift is firm

RTO maximum is 7 days; RTO may not be requested during the first week of the assignment

Holiday coverage is expected: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them; if three fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday (counted as one), Christmas Eve/Christmas Day (counted as one), and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day (counted as one)

Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time; delays may result in a two-week pushback due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule

Travel pairs will not be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
