General Summary
VP of Sales and Marketing to establish annual sales goals, designate objectives of our sales and marketing departments, develop growth and market expansion plans, set KPIs, and prospect partnership opportunities within and across industries.
Essential Responsibilities
- To develop and implement an overall marketing and sales strategy for Sanden Vendo products, including pricing and customer service policies and advertising programs. Develops marketing action plans that clearly define objectives, goals, schedules, and assignments to implement and achieve targeted opportunities.

To develop a plan and supporting procedures for customer order processing; to supervise a staff of salespeople and customer-service representatives who implement that plan.

To carry out a program for market research and analysis including market segments, buying trends and competitor analysis.

To provide recommendations for improving or adding new product designs and assists with product development and testing.

Oversees and verifies reporting of sales and marketing activities, including leads generated and tracking reports, sales orders received, sales by product, backlog reports and customer lists and determines appropriate reporting frequency, such as weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

Monitoring the market and competitor products and activities and providing detailed sales forecasting

Job Specifications
The position requires extensive contact with customers, both internal and external. Must have a sense of urgency and a desire to serve the customer, and at the same time, the ability to balance SVA interests. Must be detail oriented with strong communication skills, written and verbal. The ability to "multitask" is important. Extensive travel will be expected. This job requires a person that is a team player and can work well with other individuals and departments to help SVA accomplish our goals.
Education & Experience Requirements

Minimum of 3 years experience in a sales leadership position.

Minimum of 7 years of marketing and/or selling responsibilities in food service equipment industry desired

Knowledge of equipment sales and business-to-business selling is required.
- Computer literacy is required. Preferably with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Experience in highly priced competitive markets where selling on features, benefits, value, reputation, and relationship is critical, and where pricing strategies must be carefully evaluated to assure proper market positioning.

Experience and personal demeanor to relate to all levels of a customers organization.

An excellent communicator and team player.

Must be highly energetic, disciplined, and a self-starter with a strong sense of urgency.
- Able to think both strategically and tactically.
