Warehouse Worker wanted Full Time, Monday to Friday for a Medical Supply Company in Edgewood, Long Island, New York (By Deer Park Train Station)
Responsibilities include:
- Load delivery vehicles
- Unload supplier trailers and inspect products for damages
- Receive products correctly into proper bin locations while monitoring lot numbers and expiration dates
- Rotate inventory based on expiration dates and shelf life
- Accurately pick customer orders based on daily delivery schedule
- Use internal inventory management system to locate products, confirm and print orders
- Knowledge in FedEx World Ship a plus
- Securely gift box/pack customer orders securely, ensuring positive appearance of the package as needed
- Maintain facility appearance
- Provide assistance in other areas as requested
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
- Ability to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to read, understand and follow both written and verbal instructions
- Must be punctual & reliable
- Forklift and Order Picker/Cherry Picker experience a must
- Pallet Jack and Hand Truck experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
