Position overview
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operators for manufacturing and production roles with full-time schedules. This role offers structured shifts with consistent hours, opportunities for growth, and the potential for permanent employment.
Responsibilities
Hours: 11pm-7am
Set up and operate assigned machinery per customer orders and supervisor direction, maintaining accurate and efficient production
Continuously monitor product quality against company standards (print/die-cut accuracy, ink color, label placement) and log production activity in the computer system
Perform preventive maintenance, keep the work area clean and organized, and report any breakdowns to your supervisor immediately
Read and follow work orders, spec cards, and print cards, using tools like a tape measure or micrometer to verify specs.
Assist in training and coordinating with crew members as needed

Requirements
Able to stand for extended periods, continuously bend/stoop/reach, and lift up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis.
Able to read and follow detailed work orders and specifications.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled production environment.
Willing and able to work overtime as needed.
No prior machine-operating experience required — Hood Container trains on-site; forklift, material handling, or corrugated experience is a plus.
