Duties
- Prepare Boba drinks efficiently and according to quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Clover for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and ensuring a tidy environment for guests
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
- Support team members during busy periods by multitasking between serving, drinks prep, and cashier duties
- Must be able to work on weekends and mid-day shifts during the week
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Clover is a plus
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail math enhances efficiency in handling transactions and upselling opportunities
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service
- Knowledge of kitchen operations or café environments is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
