Landscape Laborer / Hardscape Installer
Job Summary
Join our growing team as a Landscape Laborer / Hardscape Installer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. In this hands-on position, you will assist with a variety of landscaping and hardscaping projects, helping transform residential and commercial properties into attractive, functional outdoor environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and have experience with hardscape installation. From lawn maintenance and planting to patios, retaining walls, drainage solutions, and snow removal, no two days are the same.
Responsibilities
● Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, mulching, planting, and weed control.
● Install hardscape features such as paver patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, and drainage systems.
● Assist with site preparation, excavation, grading, leveling, and compaction for hardscape projects.
● Operate hand tools, power tools, compactors, saws, skid steers, excavators, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
● Perform lawn care services including aeration, fertilization, overseeding, and seasonal cleanups.
● Assist with tree and shrub planting, trimming, and pruning.
● Load, unload, and transport materials to and from job sites.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
● Assist with snow plowing and ice management during winter months as needed.
Qualifications
● Hardscaping experience is required. Applicants must have knowledge of paver installation, retaining walls, base preparation, grading, and proper compaction techniques.
● Experience in landscaping, lawn care, construction, or related outdoor trades preferred.
● Ability to operate landscaping and construction equipment is a plus.
● Knowledge of drainage solutions, excavation, and site preparation is preferred.
● Familiarity with tree care, planting, and pruning techniques.
● Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a team.
● Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
● Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
