Overview
Pregnancy Solutions is a faith-based, Christ-Centered Pregnancy Center. The Sonographer provides clinical services, ensuring safe, compassionate, mission-aligned care in both clinic and mobile settings. This position maintains compliance with applicable standards, and helps ensure that patients receive professional, compassionate, and confidential care.
Duties
- Provide pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, STI testing, and STI treatment.
- Provide patient pregnancy education and referrals.
- Document clinical findings, observations, and medical care in client record.
- Review any clinical findings indicating concern for viability of pregnancy or health of the mother with the Clinic Manager or Medical Director.
- Comply with continuing education requirements for state and professional licensing and continuing education requirements, as well as CPR certification.
- Educate patients about procedures, answer questions clearly, and provide compassionate care throughout the imaging process.
Skills
- Current, unrestricted nursing license or RDMS license in the State of Ohio
- Willingness to learn how to perform ultrasounds (training provided), based on NIFLA and Care-Net guidelines
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients.
- Must demonstrate a nonjudgmental, compassionate, and caring approach
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace
- Previous pregnancy center experience is helpful
