We are not a daycare! We’re a thriving preschool in Melissa, and as our enrollment continues grow, we are looking for a dedicated and energetic Preschool Teacher to join our team.
This position is perfect for someone who loves working with young children and is looking for a consistent afternoon schedule. You'll play an important role in creating a nurturing, engaging, and enriching environment for children during the second half of their school day.

Schedule
Monday – Friday
8:30AM-2:30PM or
12:30 PM – 6:30 PM
No nights, weekends, or major holidays.
What You'll Do
Support Learning Throughout the Day
- Assist in implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate activities using our Wonder of Learning® curriculum.
- Help maintain a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
Create a Safe and Nurturing Environment
- Ensure children feel valued, supported, and cared for during afternoon activities, transitions, and playground time.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness.
Build Strong Relationships
- Foster positive connections with children, families, and fellow teachers.
- Communicate daily highlights and important information with families during afternoon pick-up.
Be a Team Player
- Collaborate closely with lead teachers and administrators to ensure a smooth and successful school day.
- Support classroom routines, supervision, and end-of-day responsibilities.
Guide with Heart
- Encourage social-emotional growth through positive interactions, redirection, and encouragement.

What We're Looking For
- High school diploma required
- CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related experience preferred
- Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
- Ability to meet state licensing and training requirements
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability
- Passion for helping young children learn and grow
- Flexible and willing to assist in any classroom or area of the school as needed
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to changing daily needs and priorities

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
