Core Duties

Configure and manage the operation of injection molding equipment

Execute tooling and mold transitions alongside machine initialization
-
Supply machine hoppers with necessary plastic resins
-
Optimize process variables to ensure consistent product standards
-
Identify and mitigate part defects such as short shots, discoloration, warpage, or flash to ensure high-quality output

Utilize precision measurement instruments to conduct dimensional quality checks

Oversee active production runs and resolve molding complications
-
Process scrap plastic for recycling and reuse

Assist and partner with junior-level operators to maintain workflow efficiency
Required Skills

Minimum of two years in injection molding operation and setup

Proven proficiency in executing mold and tooling changeovers

Ability to effectively manage the balance between machine configuration and active production

Competency in conducting thorough visual and dimensional quality assessments

A collaborative mindset focused on supporting team goals

Completion of high school or an equivalent educational credential
Desired Qualifications

Prior work with Krauss Maffei molding systems
