Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, attentive service.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity, ensuring proper cash register procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by handling food properly, preparing light food items, and adhering to health regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling snacks or light meals in accordance with safety guidelines.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry with a strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, proper food handling, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
