Job Summary:
The Medical Spa Receptionist at Focus Aesthetics acts as the first point of contact for our guests and will set the tone for their spa experience. You will perform the necessary administrative responsibilities needed to create a smooth check in/out experience for patients.
This position is PART TIME, 2-3 days per week.
Duties:
- Greeting patients professionally both in person and over the phone
- Perform all check in/check out tasks
- Answer phones in an efficient and professional manner
- Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
- Cancel, reschedule and handle no-show appointments
- Notifying providers of patient arrivals
- Providing information about our spa, services, treatments and products
- Collect and apply payments.
- Preparing patients for treatments
- Maintain a neat, clean working area
- Maintain working knowledge of office equipment
- Use Excellent customer service in all interactions with patients, visitors and staff
- Participates in professional development
- Comply with HIPPA confidentiality standards when accessing or communicating patient information
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of Medical Spa terminology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with patients and employees in a courteous, professional manner at all times
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Florida Eye Specialists is a Drug-Free Workplace. All potential hires will be required to take and clear a pre-employment drug screen upon job offer.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience in similar role preferred
- Skin Care experience - Preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, repetitive hand movements
- Frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, squatting , with some lifting, pushing and pulling up to 10 pounds.
