Polsinelli has a position available for an experienced full-time Legal Administrative Assistant (Legal Secretary) in their Los Angeles office, supporting the Corporate & Transactional, Tech Transactions & Data Privacy, Real Estate, and Energy practice groups.
- Manage files, open new matters as requested by attorneys, and maintain all relevant document inclusions for the files.
- Responsible for a broad variety of administrative tasks requiring strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with meticulous attention to detail.
- Possession of 5+ years of legal administrative assistant experience in a law firm. Emphasis on Corporate & Transactional, Tech Transactions & Data Privacy, Real Estate, or Energy would be beneficial.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including expertise in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (particularly Outlook).
- Proficiency with e-filing.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Expert-level written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated active approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates must possess strong initiative, demonstrate an ability to anticipate needs, and resolve issues/problems independently. Other essential requirements for this position include: the ability to communicate effectively and professionally to develop rapport with co-workers as well as clients; maintain strong working relationships; exhibit meticulous attention to detail; handle confidential and sensitive information; and possess strong proofreading and typing skills.
The budgeted salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000.
