Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in various clinical settings. This role requires proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in managing patient care.
- Participate in discharge planning and coordinate post-acute care services.
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated on best practices in nursing.
Experience
Candidates should have a background that includes experience in various nursing environments. Preferred qualifications include:
- Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10) for accurate medical documentation.
- Possible experience in home care.
- Additional skills such as basic life support certification, knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and experience with diagnostic evaluations are highly valued. Join us in making a difference in the lives of our patients by providing exceptional nursing care.
Pay: $70.00 - $120.00 per hour
