As a 1099 Appliance Delivery Contract worker, you load appliances onto a box truck, transport them to customers’ homes or businesses, and install or set them up according to safety and company guidelines.
Responsibilities include:
- Loading/unloading appliances from the truck and warehouse.
- Transporting appliances to customer locations.
- Installing appliances safely, verifying correct placement, and testing operation.
- Managing customer paperwork and verifying delivery/installation details.
- Providing basic product education or troubleshooting on-site.
- Coordinating with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and sometimes installation partners to ensure timely service.
- Representing MJ’s Precision Freight and Lowe’s with excellent customer service and attention to detail.
Typical vehicles are 26-foot box trucks (e.g., 14,500–26,000 lbs GVW). Experience in delivery environments is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required to be a driver.
Qualifications: No CDL is required. Prior experience operating box trucks is preferred. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Must possess a clean and favorable DMV record. If you are interested in joining our team, please contact me at 405.446.9644.
