The Life Enrichment Director at The Carriages of Marietta is responsible for creating and implementing engaging activities and programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents. This role requires a compassionate and organized individual who is passionate about promoting wellness, socialization, and personal growth within a senior living community.
- Develop, plan, and coordinate a variety of recreational and social activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
- Lead group activities and special events that encourage resident participation and promote cognitive
- Collaborate with staff, families, and volunteers to ensure successful execution of enrichment programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of activities and resident participation.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies.
- Drive the company vehicle to take residents on outings.
- Hold monthly resident council meetings.
- Assist with open house and other community functions as needed.
- Must enjoy working with seniors.
- Develop activity calendars and newsletters.
- Coordinate activities to promote cohesiveness and camaraderie among volunteers.
- Previous experience in activity planning, elder care, or a related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and creative mindset.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and scheduling.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in recreation therapy or related areas a plus.
- Competitive hourly wage of $18.00 - $20.00, paid bi-weekly.
