Our Bronx based Volkswagen dealership is seeking an experienced and results-driven Finance Manager to join our high-performing sales leadership team. This role is critical in delivering a transparent, compliant, and premium purchase experience while maximizing dealership profitability and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is a polished professional with deep knowledge of automotive finance, a strong compliance mindset, and the ability to partner seamlessly with Sales, Accounting, and Leadership teams.
Must Haves:
- Two or more years of experience with Reynolds Ignite software.
- Formal training background from dealership
Responsibilities:
- Present finance products clearly and professionally in a pressure-free, customer-focused manner, consistent with VW brand standards.
- Maximize dealership profitability through ethical sales of aftermarket products including service contracts, GAP, tire & wheel, and protective plans.
- Protect vehicle gross by structing financing to avoid margin erosion from outside sources.
- Convert cash deals to finance when appropriate.
- Submit and process finance and lease deals accurately though approved lenders to secure timely approvals.
- Provide customers with a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership policies, products, and service procedures.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and in alignment with dealership standards.
- Establish and maintain strong working relations with banks, credit unions, captive finance sources, and alternative lenders.
- Accurately review and complete all finance, insurance and vehicle sales documentation, including title, lien, tax, payoff and insurance verification.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state and local laws, OEM requirements and dealership policies related to F&I
