Core Responsibilities:
As an independent Agency Representative, you will have professional direction over your daily strategy to achieve production benchmarks, utilizing the following core avenues:
- Business Development & Outbound Sales: Prospect, market, and close new personal and commercial insurance lines using independent lead generation networks, outbound dialing channels, and agency-approved digital platforms.
- Policyholder Advisory & Retention: Provide expert consultation to existing insureds across multiple channels (telephone, walk-in, and mobile apps), providing detailed insurance quotes, handling structural policy modifications, and implementing strategic lapse-retention protocols.
- Agency Support workflows: Manage basic daily office administrative workflows, track client interactions using standard tracking mechanics, and maintain essential office supply pipelines.
What We Look For:
- Licensing: Active Missouri Property & Casualty (P&C) and/or Life insurance license is highly preferred. Unlicensed candidates with strong sales backgrounds will be considered, contingent on obtaining licensure within an initial 8-week window (upfront textbook and state exam fees covered by the agency).
- Skills: Excellent communication, a competitive drive to hit growth targets, and the ability to comfortably operate modern digital CRM/quoting systems.
- Reliability: Ability to align your primary operational availability with standard regional business hours (Targeting Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM).
- Guaranteed Base Cash Flow: A flat $20.00 to 25.00/hr contract rate protects your baseline time investment.
