A Production Assistant in the Raw Department contributes directly to the smooth operation of the production line, helps us meet customer demand and maintains high standards of quality by ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of our products. This is a part-time position including weekend days.
Key responsibilities include
- Handles raw materials, including proper storage

Prepares raw materials for commercial dehydration

Hand coats finished product with salt

Performs quality control checks on raw materials and finished products

Maintains a clean and organized work area

Collaborates with team members to achieve production goals.

Adheres to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Communicates effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding production status and any issues that arise.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail.

Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.

Possesses good time management skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks.

Experience with quality control procedures (preferred, not required)

Experience with food manufacturing (preferred, not required)

Requires extended periods of standing.

Involves repetitive motions and manual dexterity.

Works in a production environment with moderate noise levels and varying temperatures.

Available to work either Friday - Sunday or Saturday - Monday 5am-1:30pm.
