P&B Intermodal is seeking a motivated and resourceful Talent Acquisition & HR Coordinator to join our growing team. This role will primarily focus on recruiting and workforce development initiatives, with a strong emphasis on attracting skilled mechanics and chassis technicians. The ideal candidate is creative, proactive, and passionate about finding innovative ways to connect with candidates and build strong talent pipelines.
In addition to recruitment responsibilities, this position will support a variety of HR functions and gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of Human Resources, including employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting (Primary Focus)
- Develop and execute creative recruiting strategies to attract qualified chassis technicians and other operational talent.
- Build relationships with vocational schools, technical training programs, workforce development organizations, and community partners.
- Represent P&B Intermodal at career fairs, vocational high school events, trade school recruiting events, and industry networking opportunities.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, referrals, networking, and other innovative recruiting channels.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding support.
- Track recruiting metrics and identify opportunities to improve hiring effectiveness and speed.
- Partner with leadership to understand workforce needs and develop proactive talent pipelines.
About the Role
This position requires occasional travel to career fairs, vocational schools, technical training programs, industry events, and P&B locations. Candidates should be willing to travel up to 30% of the time to support recruiting and workforce development initiatives. Prior experience or familiarity with the intermodal, trucking, transportation, chassis repair, logistics, or heavy equipment industries is strongly preferred.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
