Location: Fremont, CA
Shift:
Day Shift: 6:45a.m. to 3:15p.m.
Swing Shift: 3:45p.m. to 12:15a.m.
First week will be from 10am.. to 5p.m. for orientation & training
+ About the job:
As a Material Handler, you will collect, sort, and transport recyclable materials from production areas and move heavy objects from different departments.
+ We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and procedures
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
+ What you’ll do:
- Collect, sort, and transport recyclable materials from production areas
- Flatten cardboard and prepare recyclables for disposal or reuse
- Load and unload pallets from trailers
- Stage materials in designated warehouse lanes
- Move materials to production and other assigned areas
- Package and unpack materials as needed
- Inspect materials for damage, wear, or defects
- Report issues, damages, and updates to the warehouse manager
- Maintain basic records of damaged stock or equipment
- Perform additional warehouse and production support tasks as assigned
